VOSS Announces Brian Goodwin as VP Strategic Alliances

READING, UK - Thursday August 26, 2010 – VOSS Solutions, a leading provider of Unified Communications (UC) service delivery and management software, today announced Turk Telekom as the latest customer to select VOSS’s highly scalable management platform for the delivery and management of their UC services and applications.

Turk Telekom, the leading communication and convergence technology company in Turkey, provides integrated telecommunication services from PSTN and GSM to broadband internet. Turk Telekom serves over 16 million fixed access lines, 6.5 million ADSL Connections and 11.5 million mobile subscribers.

Turk Telekom approached VOSS Solutions because, even though it was offering its customers a successful hosted managed services solution, it was aware that as the scale and complexity of customer requirements increased, NOC overheads were becoming difficult to contain. Turk Telekom wanted to be able to devolve administration to customers, to reduce the pressure on the NOC team and the cost to the business.

Turk Telekom selected Cisco HUCS, a comprehensive converged IP communications system, which is powered by VOSS technology, a UC service delivery management platform. VOSS is specifically designed for the delivery of managed UC services to large scale, multiple customers, addressing Turk Telekom's desire to scale their network, whilst maintaining control over operational expenditure. The whole solution was purchased through the Cisco pricelist, as VOSS is a Cisco SolutionsPlus partner.
