Independent Panel of Industry Judges Selects VOSS as Best Support System
RICHARDSON, TX - Friday, May 6, 2011 -VOSS Solutions, a leading provider of unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) service delivery and management software, today announced that an independent panel of industry judges has selected VOSS as the Best Support System at the 2011 World Vendor Awards.
Organized by Total Telecom - the world’s leading global communications industry online publication with 100,000 monthly unique users worldwide - the World Vendor Awards were created to “recognize the true excellence amongst companies supplying the hardware, software and services for the global telecoms industry” and “pay tribute to the greatest vendors in the world”. The World Vendor Awards remain the only independent impartial awards that are focused on telecom vendors.
VOSS was shortlisted for the Best Support System award in March 2011, and, at the awards ceremony last night at the Globe theatre in London, VOSS was selected as the overall category winner for its implementation of event based service management.
The VOSS fulfilment engine for managed IP telephony and UC&C drew positive comments from the judges for its sizeable telecoms operator customer base, industry body accreditation and analyst backing. “The VOSS offering is clearly a market leader with an impressive footprint of incumbent operators in a variety of countries,” one member of the judging panel pointed out. Another praised VOSS for “impressive references in a difficult and important business area,” while a third pointed to the relevance of its offering in the current market.

In early 2010, VOSS developed a real-time, event-based mediation solution, which is based on the VOSS Solutions service delivery and management platform.
