Tuesday, January 17, 2012 – Reading, UK - VOSS Solutions, the leader in cloud fulfillment technology, today announced that it has closed the second phase of the Series C private equity funding round, with Vodafone Ventures.
Vodafone Ventures is the investment arm of Vodafone Group PLC, specializing in investments in seed, start up, early stage, and mid stage companies. It invests in wireless and Internet sectors. It invests between £2 million ($3.6 million) and £10 million ($18.1 million) in the portfolio companies and typically invests in companies that offer strategic services to the Vodafone Group. Vodafone Ventures was formed in 2000 and is based in the Newbury, United Kingdom.
The first phase of VOSS’ Series C funding round included investment from Intel Capital, Eden Ventures and XAnge, following a Series B funding round including Eden Ventures and XAnge.
These funds will enable VOSS to fuel its growth as the leading UC&C cloud fulfillment provider, and to support the evolution of its technology solution which has already been deployed into more tier-1 service providers than any of its competitors, including AT&T, BT and CenturyLink.
