The Cisco Managed Unified Communication Manager (UCM) solution, with the VOSS unified communications service delivery and management platform, for hosted & managed IP telephony (IPT) platforms, offers a proven end-to-end integrated reference architecture for multi-cluster UC and IPT services.
Based around the classic Cisco enterprise IP-PBX architecture, VOSS provides two critical elements to the solution:
- UC service delivery and management
- Integrated element management
The VOSS solution specifically targets large enterprise multi-cluster CUCM deployments, but is often utilized by service providers wishing to offer managed IP-PBX services. VOSS has been tailored specifically for the managed UC architecture and provides an integrated provisioning solution and application management capability.
