Day-0:
VOSS is different to other management systems because it manages and automates the underlying dial plan and UC&C infrastructure that is essentially the brains of a modern UC&C system today. This means that VOSS is fully involved with the design phase, providing templates for the creation and management of dial plans and fully mapping the physical architecture and relationships between infrastructure elements.
When a head-end gets built, VOSS is deeply involved with the build process. The head-end can be built more rapidly, but we also enable the platform to be pre-staged and tested prior to the production build which can greatly improve the design.
Day-1:
VOSS then provides a comprehensive suite of day-1 tools for the deployment of customer locations and their phones and users and services. These tools include site survey, automated phone discovery and provisioning tools.
Day 2:
VOSS provides automated administration and end user self care capabilities for existing users and phones through its web-based management portals. This capability is often taken for granted but VOSS provides flexible and customizable administration portals in the market today.
Day 3:
VOSS also provides automation tools to upgrade platforms and dynamically modify the design as the company’s needs change over time with higher growth levels or new technology.
