Purpose of the position
As a Cloud Data Architect, you will play a critical role in the early stage design of VOSS’ new native cloud offering. This is a hands-on role, meaning that you will be responsible for the design and implementation of the data strategy for this new offering.
Duties and responsibilities
- Collaborating with the rest of the team on the design and implementation of VOSS’ new native cloud offering. This is not necessarily limited to data components/pipelines.
- Responsible for the overall data architecture of VOSS’ new cloud-native offering.
- Provide technical direction and implement best practices for data governance, multi-tenancy, scalability, ETL, analysis, and visualizations that provide maximum value for our customers, while minimizing costs to VOSS.
- Ability to research, find, and execute best-of-class data workflows and technologies.
- Support and troubleshoot all areas of the data pipeline.
Technical skills and experience
- Required
- 5+ years of experience within cloud data applications.
- Azure Data Services.
- NoSQL DB experience.
- Experience with both OLTP and OLAP applications.
- Experience working with leadership and key stakeholders throughout the business.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies.
- Experience with ML and AI software.
- Ability to work on multiple, variant, and not well-defined tasks.

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent years of professional experience.
Driving/Travel requirements
- Must hold current valid driver’s license and passport.
- You must have the legal right to work in the USA.
