Purpose of the Role

The Development department is responsible for the design and development of our software products. Your responsibilities will include performing product design, programming, bug verification, and testing. Focus areas will include software development processes relating to VOSS, obtaining a comprehensive understanding of all product functionality, development methodologies and design.

Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach and an understanding of the prospective customer’s existing UC infrastructure and strategic plans to evolve their UC infrastructure.
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.

Education and Training

  • A tertiary qualification in IT or related fields is required.

  • Must possess at least 10 years’ experience in the large enterprise and/or public sector segments.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).

Purpose of Position

The Technical Project Manager works directly with VOSS clients on the implementation of Cisco HCS and VOSS solutions with a focus on completing project objectives within the prescribed timeframe and funding parameters.

As a key member of the deployment project team, the Technical PM has a secondary role as a product expert and often engages in end user training, providing function and feature documentation and analysis for solution integration needs within customer environments.

Technical Skills and Experience

The Performance Engineer works within the VOSS-4-UC engineering team. This engineer will own and drive the performance and scale test automation within the team. The engineer will ensure that all performance automation runs on a regular basis, analyze results, report to management and external stakeholders.

  • Developing performance benchmarks, stress tests and scale tests for VOSS-4-UC API, GUI and bulk management tools

Purpose of Position

Our Technical Trainer supports internal and external Global Services activities by training VOSS and customer resources on our products and processes. As the Trainer, you will not only build world class quality training courses and materials but also deliver them in an exceptionally professional manner both internally to VOSS resources and externally to clients. The role involves working with the Global Services teams as well as other areas of our business when necessary to gather knowledge and an understanding of our products you will be training customers and VOSS resources to use. Purpose of Position

The Solutions Engineer is an intermediate level role and has overall technical responsibility for customer solutions and project implementation. Purpose of Position

 The Solutions Implementation Engineer provides support to Solutions Engineers and has responsibility for implementing customer project designs and supporting customers throughout project implementation. This role is client facing and some international and domestic travel should be expected.

Purpose of Position

The L2 support team is responsible for customer support. L2 Engineers work closely with the customer and the Engineering team during and post implementation, resolving any issues.

The Engineering department is responsible for the design, development and Go-To market of our software products. The main responsibility of a Developer is to implement formal specifications as written up for him/her.
