Computer based training – FAQ
Hadas Arad, Training Manager, VOSS
If your UC services and applications are managed by the VOSS technology – including CUCDM customers – then this blog post will interest you!
- What is computer-based training?
VOSS has launched an online, computer-based training (CBT) program. The VOSS CBT program gives students the chance to learn at their own pace, from any location with an internet connection. CBT courses from VOSS are offered in bite-sized modules, allowing students to fit their learning around a busy work schedule.
- What courses are available?
Our first course focuses on End User Self-Care, and is relevant to VOSS end users, and Cisco UC Domain Manager end users in Cisco HCS.
The End User Self-Care course is designed to empower VOSS and Cisco HCS end users to administer their own UC services and applications, from any smart device or tablet. The course explains how to self-manage extension mobility, speed dials, Presence, conferencing, voicemail, single number reach, corporate and personal directories, and preferences.
- What is the cost?
There are two pricing options for this course: A company-wide login or an individual login. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a quotation.
- How long does it take?
The course lasts about 1 hour, if you attend all 12 modules in a single sitting. However it's designed to be self-paced, and you don't have to complete it in one go.
- What is the end goal?
At the end of the course, you will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to carry out changes to your UC settings, in real-time, which will increase productivity, speed time to resolution, and improve inter-company collaboration. You will be able to manage your own UC devices and services rather than logging tickets (assuming your provider / IT manager has given you access to a self-care portal).
- How do I get started?
You can request a company-wide password so that you and your colleagues have access to this course, or you can request an individual login. To request the login details, please email email@example.com.
