Pat Richard Recognized as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for 12th Consecutive Year
Christopher Martini, VP, VOSS
I am delighted to share the news that our lead Microsoft UC Architect for VOSS Solutions, Pat Richard, has been recognized as a Microsoft® Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for the 12th consecutive year.
The MVP Award is an annual award that that Microsoft bestows upon exceptional technology community leaders worldwide, who actively share their high quality expertise with users and Microsoft. MVPs share a passion for technology, a willingness to help others, and a commitment to community. With just over 4,000 awardees worldwide, Microsoft MVPs represent a highly select group of experts. MVPs are present in over 90 countries, in more than 40 languages, and across numerous Microsoft technologies.
To recognize the contributions they make, MVPs have the opportunity to meet Microsoft executives, network with peers, and position themselves as technical community leaders. This is accomplished through speaking engagements, one on one customer event participation, and technical content development. MVPs also receive early access to technology through a variety of programs offered by Microsoft, which keeps them on the cutting edge of the software and hardware industry.
Pat was first awarded Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) status in 2006. Since joining VOSS in 2017, Pat has brought tremendous field experience and a deep understanding of Microsoft UC to our team, and most importantly, our customers.
As an accomplished author in the space, Pat is already recognized as a thought leader around the world. Recently at UC EXPO in London, Pat hosted a panel session on "The Impact and Evolution of Microsoft Teams". This wasn’t just a standing-room-only event; attendees were queuing out the door and along the corridor. I’ve never seen anything like it and I am sure that we will see Pat filling halls at more conferences in the coming year.
Personally and professionally, I am so happy to have Pat as a member of our team. We are really proud of Pat as MVP status is not easy to come by; especially not 12 years in a row. Pat’s deep expertise and passion for Microsoft UC continues to deliver massive benefits to VOSS customers and the VOSS team alike.
Pat hosts a regular podcast, called UC Inside Track. You can catch recent episodes, here.
