Nemertes (now Metrigy) Ranks VOSS #1 UC Management Vendor
You can’t argue with data!
In an article on No Jitter, Robin Gareiss presents data from Nemertes’ (now Metrigy) 2017 UCC Total Cost of Operations research of 723 organizations. The data shows that for companies with more than 5,000 endpoints, UC operations costs drop by more than 67% with operations/administration tools.
Gareiss explains that operations/administration tools come from third-party specialists that focus on system administration, configuration management, and provisioning, among other things. Providers include Riverbed, Unimax, and VOSS, as well as some smaller regional players.
Gareiss’ research shows that organizations can drastically reduce staff time and cost associated with managing UC when they’ve adopted automated functions such as those that speed awareness, root-cause analysis, and resolution of problems:
